Project Engineer - Clark Construction Group, LLC & Clark Concrete Contractors, LLC - Provide admin & technical services in the areas of scheduling, cost eng, subcontract admin & coordination, procurement, budgeting & general project admin. Prepare submittals in conformity with the project plans/specs, job status reports; solicit prices from subs/suppliers; assemble warranties & guarantees; & project close out.
BS or equiv in Civil Eng, Architecture, Construction or Eng Mgmt or a closely rel field & 2yrs of exp in construction/building proj or MS or equiv.

Assistant Superintendent: Assistant Superintendents coordinate the field construction of specific areas and/or specific trades to assure all work is put in place in compliance with planned sequence and schedule. Assistant Superintendents supervise assigned self-performed and subcontracted field construction work and implements and enforces pertinent safety and quality control policies and procedures. Qualifications include five years of field supervisory experience constructing major commercial and/or institutional projects.
Estimator: Estimators review project
drawings and work with subcontractors and suppliers
to develop accurate projections of project costs, including
materials, manpower and equipment. Qualifications include
the ability to read construction drawings and interpret
project specifications. A bachelor's degree in construction,
architecture, engineering or a related field is preferred.
Field Engineer: Field Engineers lay the
groundwork for all of our projects and coordinate the
"nuts and bolts" of work on site. Responsibilities
include building and site layout, reading drawings,
performing computations and coordinating subcontractor
work on jobsites. A high school diploma or equivalent
construction experience is preferred.
Office Engineer: Office Engineers perform
essential project management tasks such as updating
the schedule, processing submittals, procurement and
subcontractor coordination. Qualifications include a
bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, engineering
or a related field.
Project Manager: Much like running
a company, a Project Manager is in charge of supervising
the business aspects of a construction project. This
involves overseeing contract activities on a particular
jobsite, such as communication with the owner and architect,
submittals, procurement, budgeting and schedule. Qualifications
include a bachelor's degree in construction, architecture,
engineering or a related field and five years of applicable
experience.
Safety Representative: Safety Representatives
work to ensure the safety of employees, subcontractors
and the general public on all of our projects. This
involves enforcing Clark's Safety and Health Policy
as well as local and federal safety standards on jobsites.
In addition, Safety Representatives conduct training
for project employees and consult with project supervisors
to develop safe work plans for all project phases and
tasks. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in
construction, engineering or a related field and two
years of applicable experience.
Superintendent: Superintendents oversee all field operations to ensure that self-performed and subcontracted work is in compliance with contract documents and on schedule. Superintendents also enforce safety and quality control policies among Clark employees and subcontractors. Qualifications include eight years of experience constructing major commercial and/or institutional projects.
